Meatloaf Casserole

Ingredients:

1 poundground beef

1 clovegarlic, minced

1 (14.5 ounce) candiced tomatoes, drained

1 (10.75 ounce) canCampbell's® Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup

1 tablespoonWorcestershire sauce

• 2 cupswater

• 3 tablespoonsbutter

• 3/4 cupmilk

• 2 cupsinstant mashed potato flakes or buds

• Directions

  1. Cook the beef and garlic in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
  2. Stir the beef mixture, tomatoes, 1/2 can soup and Worcestershire in a 3-quart shallow baking dish.
  3. Heat the remaining soup, water and butter in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the milk. Stir in the potatoes. Spoon the potatoes over the beef mixture.
  4. Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are lightly browned.

When I saw meatloaf in the title I had to look. :)  My husband's favorite meal. Thank you for the recipe, I am going to make this.

I have done something similiar, but call it shepherd's pie. (I know real shepherd's pie is lamb) we love it!

 I love sheperds pie!...we use ground beef too..
