My grandmom was part polish & Russian but was more into polish food.
Potato pancakes, HUGE meat balls (as big as your fist!), stuffed cabbage!
What do you still eat or make what your family made?

My father is mennonite.  So I still make alot of PA Dutch food.   Ham, string beans and potatoes, beef potpies, chicken pot pies.    I make oyster stuffing at Thanksgiving.  My dad will only come to my house for Thanksgiving because I am the only one that makes it.  It is my hubby's favorite also.

Crunchy beans. This one we made up ourselves, but we love it. You pan fry some corn tortillas, cut up in small pieces, in olive oil until "crunchy" then you just mix it with some refried beans and there you have Crunchy Beans.

I occasionally make potatos pancakes, although they are no where near as great as my grandmas. I have a few other family recipies too, but don't make them very often. I want to make some salami
