Try baking it! That's how I always do it anyways, so this worked perfect. No popping and splattering, it's all done at once. :).

I tried that once and it was so greesy and took like 20 mins to get done and then it was limp DH likes it crispy. Do you have any recomendations for that?

I would just bake it a little longer, or up the temperature, then drain it on a paper towel. I always drain on a paper towel regardless of how I cook it, I hate grease! Especially when it's popping on my arms and clothes!
