As requested for my youngest who turns 6 Thursday for her party. Any suggestions? Have you made one before, how did it turn out?

Oh I never have...I am assuming that she wants something built up and not flat like a cake mold, right?

You can buy a castle cake kit check out cake central.com for inspiration. Nordicware sells a castle cake pan you can order both items from Amazon.com.

Never made one but looks easy I know a friend that made 2 8x8 cakes stacked them and use ice.cream cones for the pointy roofs.
Good luck

You can buy sets at Hobby Lobby or even tins for flat castles. You could also always get small circle pans of different sizes to stack and make the towers and such.

I've never made one. Seems fun to me.
