What do you use black rice for? Again, I have never even seen it...to my knowledge. Unless I have looked over it. haha

Mine, too. He loves his rice. Not that I don't but I am usually more of a mashed potato girl. :)

Black rice or "Forbidden rice" is a short grain rice that is indeed black.  It takes longer to cook and has a nice nutty flavor.  I like to use it as a base for fish as seen in this photo.  This is grilled Mahi Mahi over black rice with a mango salsa on top.
