I make one meal that everyone will eat. I don't make things I know my kids won't like. Luckily they are not overly picky so menu planning is never that difficult.

I don't care for food battles and yes, I have made seperate meals.

If I'm making a dish I know my 8 yo hates there is one maybe 2 that we like that he won't touch I will make him something else but that's the only time.

Usually we both eat the same thing. Some times, if I don't "cook" or there are leftovers, we'll eat different stuff. Like one of us wil have a TV dinner and the other will have leftovers. This is usually once...no more than twice a week.

Unless it's something i know they won't eat, that's the only time I make something different
