Back to school time is full of mixed emotions in this household. On one hand we're glad to get the kids out of our hair and back into school. On the other hand, we are lamenting the end of lazy, fun filled summer days.
But nothing gets your back into the grind of things quicker than a bustling, busy school morning when it's a race to get the kids fed, washed, dressed and out the door.
To make life a little easier, I try to make breakfast time as easy as possible. Here are a few short cuts that I like to take.
Put out bowls and cereal choices the night before
Make a batch of hard boiled eggs for the week for a quick protein packed breakfast
Try single serving oatmeal cups
Chill protein shakes for a quick meal on the go
Peanut butter sandwiches aren't just for lunch. Try it for a protein packed breakfast.
