Keeping Cozy - Tea Infusers

There's a nip in the air, football is on the television, and pumpkins are in season. It means that fall is finally here! And, around our house it also means that it's time to start brewing the perfect pot (or cup) of tea.

I recently brought a new tea infuser.  It is usually shaped like a ball, and can be filled with your choice of loose-leaf tea. You dunk it into your cup or pot similarly like a tea bag, and let it steep until you reach your desired strength.

I like the idea of a tea infuser because you can better regulate the strength and flavor of your tea, adding more or less loose-leaf tea depending on your taste.

I actually have several tea infusers, because Iets face it, they are really cute. I have one shaped like a football, another shaped like a shark, and one more like the Beatle's Yellow Submarine!

Moms, how do you brew the perfect cup of tea?

I have an infuser, but I don't use it for tea.  I prefer tea bags.

We don't drink hot tea. I don't know why, because we love it when we go to Europe, but it just isn't the same here.
