When you have a small kitchen, like I do, it's essential to find multiple uses for your everyday kitchen tools. I thought of this when I found my round cakes pans collecting dust in the back of my kitchen cabinets. I rarely make cakes, so there had to be other uses for these beauties. Here are a few of the things that I thought of to make more use of my cake pans:
Line with wax paper and fill with ice cream. Freeze for two hours then use as a filling in between two cakes. You have an instant ice cream cake!
Roast a small chicken or roast in a foil lined cake pan.
Use for baking a frittata.
Bake a round corn bread, perfect for slicing up perfect portions.
Use for a deep-dish pizza
Moms, what other uses are there for a cake pan, when you aren't using it for actual cake?
