Okay... I know hamburger helper isn't food and blah blah blah... but it's all I have. Well, I had bought milk YESTERDAY for dinner tonight and my husband let all the kids drink it. So, do I have to have milk in it? Is there anything else I could put in it?

Water would work.  It won't be quite the same as with milk, but it'll work.

Milk--whole1 cup1 cup soy milk OR 1 cup rice milk OR 1 cup water or juice OR 1/4 cup dry milk powder plus 1 cup water OR 2/3 cup evaporated milk plus 1/3 cup water

I try to always keep at least one box of shelf stable milk for this very reason Lol. Rice milk is super shelf stable.

I've done it with water before.. it's just not as creamy.

Yes you can use water.  But if you have some, I would also add in a bit of sour cream just to amp up the creaminess factor.  :0)  Or even a can of creamed soup.

You could always add butter to make it a bit creamier with the water as well.

Try canned or powdered milk and water. If all else fails...add coffee creamer.
