Dairy free of the day 10/10

 Here is my personal favorite and if you pick carefully it can be gluten free too :)

Pulled pork. All I do is buy a package of pulled pork and add my sauce in the crockpot and heat on low for a few hours. :) Also did you know that most coleslaw is dairy free? You have to watch out for soybean oil though if that is a problem too. mmmmmm!!!

Agreed! I plan on making it next week! Although DH doesn't do coleslaw.. so he will have french fries instead..

 that does sound good but i'm far too lazy for that and i already ahve coleslaw lol. i have macaroni salad set aside for dh. lol

I ove pulled pork.... I use his recipe from Knorr http://www.knorr.com/recipes/detail/11268/1/slow-cooker-pulled-pork 


  • 3 lbs. boneless pork shoulder
  • 1 tub KnorrĀ® Homestyle Stock - Chicken (http://www.knorr.com/product/detail/245812/chicken-stock)
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 10 Kaiser rolls [or hamburger buns]

Directions

  • Arrange pork in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients except rolls and pour over pork; turn to coat.
  • Cook covered on LOW 8 to 10 hours or HIGH 4 to 6 hours or until pork is tender.
  • Remove pork; reserve juices. Shred pork with fork, then stir into reserved juices. Serve on rolls.

I always make pulled chicken so pulled pork would be a good change my family would like
