Disposable Plastic Gloves - Uses for Treats and Tricks

I once had to buy an economy size box of plastic gloves for working a school picnic. I was in charge of serving up hotdogs. Needless to say we had a few gloves left over. They've been sitting in my kitchen cabinets ever since.

But, now that Halloween has rolled around, I've found another use for these. I'm filling them up with treats for the neighborhood kids.

First I will put one candy corn into each finger to represent fingernails. Next I'll fill the rest of the glove with popcorn. I made the popcorn in one large batch with my air popper. Once the gloves are filled, I tied the ends with orange and black ribbon. And there you have it, a use for all those left over clear plastic gloves. The kids are going to love these spooky treats!

Moms, what kind of tricks do you have in store for this Halloween?

That's a fun creative idea.

My kids are a little older and I don't really do anything like that anymore

That is cute. I may try that for a family party.

Around here and home made goodies, or things that have been opened, get tossed.

I use gloves like that for mixing meatloaf, meatballs, and some doughs.

Cute!

They did that at my son's Cub Scouts Halloween Party, but they didn't fill it with popcorn, just smartees and candy corn and other treats.

I buy them for mixing meat. Never thought to use them for anything else.
