Today is the day before Halloween. You've spent all month prepping for the big day with your kids. For one night of the year you can dress up in silly or scary costumes, parade around the neighborhood, and eat your fill of bite sized candies.
Here's a way that you can give your trick or treaters a great scare this Halloween. If you read my last post about making a witches punch, you know that you can use dry ice to make a super cool fog effect for your Halloween centerpiece. Here's another way you can use it.
Carve a few Halloween jack-o-lanterns - maybe one for each family member. Then break dry ice into a few chunks, being careful to follow all the safety directions. Place the chunks inside your carved pumpkins. Pour a bit of warm water over the dry ice in each pumpkin. And now you've got a super spooky jack-o-lantern that spews a icky fog. No doubt your neighbors will copy cat this awesome Halloween gag next year!
Moms, how did you carve your Halloween pumpkins this year?
