I love the taste of fresh cooked corn on the cob. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive side that almost everyone loves.
But how can you make the buttering of these delicious ears easy on your guests?
It's simple. First husk and clean your ears of corn. Either break them in half or leave them whole. Place them in a large pot of water and put it on the stove. Boil and add salt. Once cooked, place a few pats of butter into the pot. The butter will float to the top. So when people pull out the ears of corn, each cob will get a full coating of hot butter. Add some salt and pepper and you're ready to go.
Now how's that for a shortcut?
Moms, what are your favorite quick and easy sides to serve during the holidays?
