My family and I have been trying a new routine in the evenings. We are having dinner a little earlier and then heading out together for a walk afterwards. We figure, why not take advantage of the extra daylight and the nice weather.
Problem is, is that we all come back a little snackish. Eating earlier and getting in more exercise means that we might need a little more fuel before bedtime. So, I've come up with a few treats that fit in with the new healthier us, and also satisfy our sweet tooth.
Chocolate dipped and frozen banana slices
Low fat frozen yogurt with nuts and fresh fruit
Fruit juice slushies
Angel food cake with fresh berries
