My meal plan for this week

June 15 - 21, 2014


Sunday:

breakfast – sausage gravy & biscuits, scrambled eggs, juice

lunch – leftovers

dinner – grilled steak, salad, green beans, copper penny salad, brownie sundaes


Monday:

dinner – Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes, copper penny salad


Tuesday:

dinner – chicken tacos


Wednesday:

dinner – chili, salad


Thursday:

dinner – crockpot chicken w/tomatoes & artichokes


Friday:

dinner – crockpot chicken, crockpot sweet potatoes, green beans


Saturday:

dinner – pizza, salad

 I love to make out a menu for the week too.  You have some great ideas.  Think I might try some of them.  Thanks for posting.flowers

Sunday: Linguine w/ricotta cheese

Monday: beef tacos

Tuesday: stuffed green peppers

Wednesday: Monte Cristo sandwich; pea salad

Thursday: shrimp stir-fry w/toasted sesame oil

Friday: Italian breaded chicken; green beans

Saturday: Turkey sandwich

Sometimes what nights I have these dinners on changes but these are the dinners that are planned for the week despite what night they get eaten.

 Breakfasts are smoothies with whatever fresh fruit I have on hand (beginning of week is raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, bananas-I order on Tues/Wed for Friday delivery), Greek yogurt and spinach

Sunday-Bagels with lox & cream cheese, fresh fruit salad, coffee & orange juice
              L-kids taking us out (Happy Father's Day)
              D-Ante pasti(cheeses-sausages-olives-pickled vegetables) Dh's family recipe for Sunday Gravy (pasta & sauce with meatballs, Italian sausage, pork ribs) salad with artichokes and hearts of palm, tomatoes, peppers and onions)

Monday  L-leftovers from Sunday
               D-bbq chicken, grilled asparagus, Creamy bacon-tomato-avocado pasta salad     

Tuesday  L- chicken over salad greens, asparagus & tomato.
               D- Pineapple Pork roast, rice, yellow string beans & carrots

Wednesday L- Tuna salad in croissants, grapes
                    D- Brunswick stew in crockpot, spinach salad in Parmesan cups, corn muffins

Thursday   L-leftover stew
                  D- Shrimp Creole over rice, stuffed artichokes

Friday     L-Shrimp Salad
                D-out to dinner with another family

Saturday L-Oriental Chicken Salad
               D-Grilled Ribeyes, sweet potatoes, zucchini & yellow squash

I do not make one anymore. Now that my son has graduated he is back and forth doing things for the coast guard so most nights it is me for dinner. But when I know he is home I plan dinner that morning.

Monday--16 Chicken thighs

Tuesday--17
Wednesday--18 Grilled Pork Chops with pineapples(TP)
Box of Flavored Rice
Thursday--19 Grilled Tilapia with Lemon Basil Vinaigrette(TH)
Red Rice
Broccoli 
Friday--20 Bacon Cheddar Burgers
Pasta Salad
Saturday--21

Monday- dinner: leftover chicken, yellow rice & black beans and spinach
Tuesday - breakfast - fruit & toast with sausage
Lunch- leftovers or wraps
Dinner- chili Mac
Wednesday - eggs and biscuits
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: cubed steaks with roasted red potatoes with broccoli
Thursday -breakfast: eggs and sausage
Lunch: soup
Dinner: chicken sandwiches with fries, peas & fruit
Friday - is my shopping day and start of new meal planning so not done yet
