Is your kitchen open to the rest of the living area or is it closed off in a room by itself?

1 mom liked this

It's open. I really like it much better than when I had a closed kitchen at my previous homes.

My kitchen is huge.  It is open to the diningroom then the diningroom is attached to the familyroom.    My kitchen is large enough that you can have a very large crowd of people in it at one time.

Mine is closed.  Our house was built in 1917, so hardly a modern floor plan.

Open. Den goes to the kitchen and the kitchen opens up to the formal living room on the other side.
