I remember my grandmother always called it supper

It's dinner here. But growing up just about everyone I knew called it supper.

I use both, but supper is the most used.  When I was growing up, dinner was a noon and supper was the evening meal.

 I use both but supper gets used more. Just what I grew up calling it and it has stuck with me

Depends on the time - supper is up until around 6.30 whereas dinner is later - for me, at least.

We eat dinner.
