One out of ever $4 spent on groceries in the US is spent at Walmart.

The average U.S. family spends more than $4,000 per year at Walmart.

LOL  Not in this family.  That is one store that I really don't like for grocery shopping or any kind of shopping, actually.

In my town, there are only 3 options for groceries:  Walmart, Aldi, and an IGA store which for the most part has much higher prices on most things.  I buy some at the IGA, but most comes from Aldi and everything else is Walmart.  It's not that I love Walmart that much, but there are few options, unless I drive to the next biggest town which is a 70-mile round trip.

That is an interesting statistic. The walmart near us just expanded their grocery section so I guess it would be possible to do part of the e shopping there but they dont have fresh meat or produce.

This. We spend most of our food money at Trader Joe's.
