And still no power here in WV. Looking like it could be Monday before we get it back on. They haven't touched the downed wires near our house yet. We are still living at my MIL's house since that is the easiest. We can stay cool here and we only have to keep one refrigerator plugged in to the generator.
We are going out and about for the day today to just have a break for a little while and to grab some necessities at the grocery store.
My Grandfather is still in the hospital but doing better. I'm hoping they will keep him till his power comes back on at his house.
We are all still hanging in and doing ok. Hope everyone here in the group has a fantastic weekend!!
Today is day 9 with no electricity. The power company is up here at least working today so we might get our power back on by tonight like they have been promising. I miss sleeping in my own bed, showering at my house and even doing dishes and laundry. We have been surviving really well though considering. DH and DD are starting to do little things to get on my nerves. They think it's hilarious but I'm going to wring their necks if they don't stop. I'm just really ready to go home!
