Mid-6-week-intrims

My daughter's teachers email progress reports, also called Intrims to me every 6 weeks, mid-6-week-term. I get one from 4 of the 7 classes.

Including Technology.

Where she got an F.

For missing a number of assignments (spreadsheets, etc.).

This is SO not like her. And after she dropped in her grades the last time (a D in a subject she's very versed in), this is a surprise, especially knowing her punishment.

So, now it looks like her cell phone is being taken away indefinately.

I'm mad at her lack of detail to completing her assignments. But I DO NOT feel "bad" for her. She knew the deal, and now must suffer the consequences.

I am having some of the same issues with my boys. They know the subjects but are being lazy about doing the work and turning it in. They have lost their games (PS3, XBOX360, PSP) indefinately. And I told them if they don't pass to the 8th grade it will be a long miserable summer for them.

I check the boys grades weekly online. And keep up with progress reports. I am so annoyed with them. And they are pissed cuz they can't play the game. Oh well, NO rewards for laziness and lack of motivation.

I tried to get in to contact with the Tech. teacher. NOTHING...

So she had until last week or mid-week this week to pull up to a C.

I think report cards come home the week after Spring Break, which starts after school lets out today.
