With what do you fill your Easter eggs?

DS's class is having an Easter Egg Hunt next week and asked that we each bring in a dozen eggs.  Instead of the usual confection of treats, she suggested that we fill them with items from the dollar store.

Being the resourceful person that I am, I am making origami lucky stars from the ribbons I have lying around.

What about you?

LOL, mostly money. I could see little shaped erasers being cool for kindergartners.

If it fits in an egg, I've probably put it in one.  We've done socks, underwear, nail polish, headbands (cloth ones), barrettes, balls, tiny toys, etc.  I haven't gone shopping yet for this year, so I'll take a look around later this week.

We do real eggs at home. Never filled a plastic egg so I'm not sure.

I haven't decided yet.  We've done money in the past or things like dried fruit and animal crackers.

Robin's eggs, Reese's eggs, and Smarties. Might throw a few quarters in. And we'll have hard boiled eggs, too.

Like the money idea.  My DS got some cute egg shaped erasers, and he actually used them, too!  Happy Easter!

Wow, those must be really big eggs!  Do you use ostrich eggs?  LOL. That's great!  Happy Easter!
