The 3 Word Story

I saw this and wanted to try it out:  I will start by posting 3 words to begin a story. The next poster will post another 3 words to continue the story that I started. The next poster after that will continue the story following the 3 words that the poster before her wrote: 

Example:

1st poster: my husband called

2nd poster: and told me

3rd poster: that he will

4th poster: bring a friend

and so on and so forth till we get the story finished.  No back to back posting. The story MUST MAKE SENSE AND YOU MUST STAY ON THE TOPIC!  1 token per participation.
