This is a place for patients and advocates of DVT, PE, or VTE. We can come together and support each other during this emotionally and physically draining time. We can share our struggles and how we made it through so that other's will see that it's difficult yet possible. We can also spread awareness so that someone else may be prevented from having the same issues.

A fact I read is that "Fatal PE caused by DVT may be the most common preventable cause of hospital death in the United States. Yet, only one-third of hospitalized patients with risk factors for venous blood clots receive preventative measures." We need to spread the word about prevention.
