How do you feel about princesses?

I just want some opinions about how you feel about princesses and the message princesses send our strong girls.

The only "princess" I really like is Tinkerbell because she never has a prince rescue her, and she's very smart and independant. But that's just my opinion. Thoughts?

Tinkerbell technically isnt a princess, but you are right she is smart and independant.

I actually like them, and have always liked them. They have issues that they need to work through. I am excited to see the newest disney princess.

I like them and have no problem with it :) I grew up watching the Disney movies and found my own "prince charming" so I have no issue

I don't like the idea of princesses. "Oh, I'm so pretty, come save me!"
Fuck that.

I don't have girls. If I did, I think I'd be ok with them. I love Disney. I know that some of the princesses aren't strong, but I think that it's up to parents to help their children learn such things, not movie characters.

My dd loved the Disney princesses when he was little. She understood that it was a movie and not reality. As an 11 year old she is smart, strong and very independent.

I don't have a problem with them. My daughters aren't really into them though so maybe that is why I don't have a problem with them lol :)
