Teaching your daughter skills....

Posted by   + Show Post

I have a funny about this one. I have a brand new sewing machine and have never used it. Everyone in my family can sew but me! But Im th emaster at stitch witch and a glue gun...lol!

My daughter took a sewing class at school and is making beautiful things! Sadly, I should have been the one teaching her...oh well....

She has always followed me around no matter what I'm doing and is pretty handy around the kitchen, the yard, and also helps me with the crafts I make to sell and for just around the house.

What skills do you teach your daughter?

Specifically, we cook together and bake and walk together.

Thats something I never really thought about it.. I guess I do want her to know how to cook but I also want her to know how to exchange a tire or change oil in a car, how to fend herself

I am teaching her how to live a natural life. How to cloth diaper, breastfeed, natural remedies, good nutrition.
