manners, compasion, inner strength, common sense, how to budget, problem solving, healthy lifestyle, how to be resiliant, self defense and not to be afraid to accidently punch someone in the face because they deserve it...tis my biggest regret in life.

To be independent and not afraid to speak up and to embrace the world around them, not be afraid of it.

I want my daughters to be confident in who they are, without feeling the need to change. I want them to live their life for Christ, and know they are beautiful inside and outside, but knowing inside beauty is the most important.

Mostly I just want them to know that they are special,a nd can do anything they want to do, with hard work and determination!

I'd like her to have the skills to be independent. Emotionally and financially.

Respect, how to find her own happiness, compassion, to work hard, things like that.

Self respect, courtesy, responsibility for herself and financial responsibility.

This is a hard one...I'd say to have self confidence and be comfortable with who she is.

Are you meaning before puberty, period starts, turns 18 vs 21?

DD is 12 and I hope that I have raised her to be understanding, respectful, dependable, trustworthy, honest, caring, and the list goes on.  I don't think these are things that you can really teach, but are more learned over watching behavior.  You can talk until you are blue in the face, but I have learned that actions go a long way.  I hope that DD can see that if is full of strugles and they will happen to her, but anything is possible.  To work hard and never to give up.
