What do you do?

Chris Jenner put her daughter Kim Kardashian on birth control. How would you have handled it?

Lock her in her room until she's 30!  lol  Seriously, I would not put her on birth control because that is just condoning the behavior.  We would talk and talk and talk until I had no voice left (then I would write it!!) about how she's just not ready for that!

Right now, I am grateful that she has no real interest in boys, at 14, and even if she was, I don't think she would do something so stupid.  *fingers crossed*

If I had a daughter, I really wouldn't see myself putting her on the pill, but I would talk about being safe and using precautions. I don't live with my head in the clouds and know that if a teen wants to have sex, then they are going to do it. The best you can do is lead them in the right direction. Also, sex talks between parents and kids, I believe, should happen before they even hit their teens or before their hormones try to take over:)

I have 4 daughters,  so this is where we are. My oldest is 16. She has already made it pretty clear that if she ever decides to have sex before marriage, she will at least wait until she is 18. She says she doesn't want the repercussions of her actions or behavior coming down us in any way. She also has said that if that is all a guy is truly interested in, then she wants no part of that guy. She is a romantic and believes in the guy wanting all parts of a woman and not just her body parts.

Lock her in her room! Lol I honestly have no idea what I would do. I wouldn't want to put her on birth control because then it seems like I'm giving her permission to have sex ( which I wouldn't be!) But at the same time I wouldn't want her to get pregnant

I could not and have not put my daughte ron birth control , although SEVERAL of her classmates and friends ar eon it to "regulate their period"..yeah right....

It would be like me saying "Well sure! Go out and have all the sex you want with whoever you want to!Woohoo! You go girl"

So far I have my eye on her becaus eshe is only 15...I know the time is coming soon enough but for now, what we're doing is working for us!

I would encourage her not to and give her several reasons why she should wait. But just in case she don't listen give her condoms and pills just to be on the safe side.

I was around 14 when I went on the pill, and I asked my mom to take me.  She cried and never did, so I had a friend drive me to family planning.  If she is determined to have sex, she will do it, with or without your "permission".  I'd try to look at it as being a positive that she is communicating with you.
