This is Kyra a little over 2 years ago, 2 weeks after her 5th birthday. There was a complication with the procedure to repair the heart problem she was born with and we came very close to losing her. When she regained conciousness after the second surgery, this smile never left her face. She was braver and stronger during that week long stay in the hospital than most grown women I know. She's awesome :)
