This is Kyra on a ride at our mall. 6 months ago it was a tight squeeze but yesterday she couldn't get her legs in and needed help out.

Wow, itty bitty! Ki finally gained some weight. She was 35 pounds on her 5th birthday before her surgeries. She's I think 58 pounds as of last week, and 50 inches now.

Quoting TurboMom81:

Hikari is a rail too. She 45 inches and weighs about 40 pounds.

Quoting Kiwismommy19:

Ok, makes sense now. Ki was the same age. I was shocked when I just caught a side glance at her shortly before her 7th birthday. I tried telling myself it was just baby fat but the kid's practically a rail! Haha! Bra shopping was fun though :)

Quoting TurboMom81:

LOL yeah I suck at the whole mobile thing. I meant she is budding.  I noticed it today when I was helping her with her swimsuit.  I thought 6 was a little young. She'll be 7 in 17 days but even that still seems young to me.

Quoting Kiwismommy19:

Bid? I'm assuming it's a typo/autocorrect but can't for the life of me figure out what it's supposed to be. Haha!

Quoting TurboMom81:

I noticed my soon be 7 year old is starting to bid a little. Scares the crap out of me!

I did too. We walked her to her class, she ran in, put her stuff away and called "see y'all later" over her shoulder. I had tears by the time I was back at the car.

Quoting SweetLuci:

I cried the first day of kindergarten. So sad.

It's crazy to look at pictures from as recent as last year and see the changes.

Quoting AzariahsMother:

About 2 weeks ago.  My brother and I were looking at photos on the computer, and omg... she has grown a lot in the last year.  Its like she is a difference person.

Hahaha! I often put my hand on Ki's head and tell her she's not allowed to grow anymore. She always laughs and says "you gotta squish my feet and head while I sleep"
