She wanted to learn to quilt so I've been teaching her, and I'm happy she's interested in things I do, but she expects her stitches to be like mine; immediately. I have to keep reminding her that they are like mine were when I first started learning. She expects perfection in herself. Not just this, but in other areas. It's self-driven. We try to emphasize the process rather than the result. Does anyone else have this problem? Any hints?
