I am afraid shark week is a little to scary for me to watch at home....my 2 year old would have nightmares.

Did you see the show last night with the shark attack victims that are now lobbying to save sharks?  So inspirational.

Haven't seen it, but not really interested. I live very near the shark bit capital of the world-New Smyrna Beach, Fl. just down the road. We see sharks all the time, but they don't come around swimmers. There are about 15 bites, more like little nips a year, usually surfers paddling out, and it's usually young sharks who mistake the feet and hands hanging down, and once they get a taste, they leave-they don't like the taste. Much more likely that you'll get struck by lightning. I don't understand the fear.
