This happened on Monday and I just realized that I never came and shared. I laughed about this all day long.

McKenna: Mommy, I thought you were going to go to the post office today?
Me: Today is not over.
McKenna: Today is October?
Me: Today is NOT. O-VER.
McKenna: Ooh, "not ooovvvveerr". Gotcha.
Me: *facepalm*

That is adorable!

My 7 year old was sweet last night. She comes into the bathroom while I am in the shower.
"EW! Look at all that hair in the sink!"
"Your Daddy must have cleaned out his shaver before he left for work."
" I can't believe how much hair Your Husband left in the sink! I will clean it up for you!"
"You don't have to. Mommy can get it."
" I got it Mom!" a few minutes later. "There. All clean."
"Oh thank you, Kari. You're my Hero."
"No, Mom, I'm just Your Little Cleaner."
LOL

Hikari has just been funny lately. She will go up to her Nana and "your son this" or "your son that" when referring to her Daddy. To me it's "your Husband this" or " your husband that"

haha That is so funny. I call my husband Lover, that has been my nickname for him for......ever so it is just natural to me. Well, anyway, McKenna started calling him that too. haha Of course, she doesn't know the meaning or anything but she'll be in the kitchen and he'll be in the living room and she'll go "Lover, dinner is ready!" or "What would you like to drink, Lover?" haha oops! And she doesn't do it all of the time. I think she more does it to rile him up because she knows that it will. It also makes me laugh when she will take him a drink or something and say "Here you go, babe." haha Oh man, this child knows how to push her daddy's buttons.
