i agree with this

It's okay to think about yourself before others every now and then, but to think of only yourself and put people down in the process, is never okay. Like those bridezillas that want their wedding to be their way....its her day for sure, but if she's stepping on people, being hurtful, or forcing people to do what she wants...that's wrong.
It's not okay to be self-centered, because, there's simply other people in the world besides yourself.
I agree and disagree. Today, if you are not self centered and stop once in a while to think about yourself, sadly the truth of the matter is no one seems to really care about your well being either. I see this theme growing; especially in the teachers/principals and being embedded in the school system. It is rather alarming! And for those before you want to argue for making my opinion, please attend a School District meeting and count how many times it is stated what is in the best interest of our children? I think you will be very shocked that the phrase has become non-existent and we wonder why our schools are sinking?
If we as a society became less absorbed in ourselves, society as a whole would be better off!

Thank you, very true.

And that's the problem, school districts have become so self centered they forget about the kids.
