For the past year my youngest, Allora, has been going on and on with these wild stories about things her Grandfather showed her and told her. She would come up to me and say "My Grandfather told me this." or "My Grandfather showed me that" She would just go on and on. LOL
The real kicker, is that she has no "Grandfather"! She has my dad "Grandpa" my husband's Step Dad "Papa Jay", my Grandpa on my Mom's side "Great Great Grandpa", and A Step Grandfather on my Husband's side "Pop-Pop" Who was this "Grandfather?"
All she would ever say was that he died a long long time ago. She sees him at night, when she goes to sleep. I figured it was just her little imagination running wild. I know I had a crazy imagination while growing up. I still do! ;-)
Well two days ago I was looking through old pictures of me and my siblings on Facebook, with my daughters, when Allora said something that sent chills through my spine!
"That's My Grandfather!!!"
That man behind my little brother is my Pop-Pop! He died back in October of 1995 when I was just 15 years old.
Before that night, Allora had never seen a picture of him. I don't actually have any pictures of my Grandparents from my Dad's side. My Grandma died on my 11th Birthday, and Pop-Pop died 4 years after that. The girls know of them. Sometimes I take them out to the cemetery in Fleetwood, where they are buried. But Allora would have no way of knowing what he looks like.
So I'm scratching my head just not quite sure of what to make of this. Could my Pop-Pop be visiting my daughter in her dreams? If so, why?
