I enjoy both equally, I think. I came up with my own variation of Shrimp Scampi Alfredo and it is a complete hit!! But I also came up with my own version of Guinness Cupcakes with a Bailey's frosting and they are just about to die for!!!

I never thought of it that way. I just don't get math all together. LOL j/k
Quoting SlightlyPerfect:Cook. I get the math better with cooking than I do baking.

After I had my daughter, I was trying to figure out why I caught on to cooking so quickly but not baking (because I did neither before I was a mom), and then I realized one day out of nowhere that it's because baking is more about ratios than cooking is. For example, mistakes made while cooking are way easier to correct than in baking because you can't really correct a ratio once it's wrong.
Quoting Harris06:BTW, I do enjoy math...I'm not the best at it once we get to Algebra but I enjoy it. Give me statistics though and I willblow your mind!! <--please don't challenge me, I have not actually sat down and done stats in years. LOL

I can see that. It is easier to toss in things to counteract in cooking as opposed to baking. Makes perfect sense.
