Did you ever see the movie? Was it any good? I don't think I have actually read the book, I want to but I don't have time :-( watching the movie I could probably handle.

Yes. They're making the novel into a trilogy. The first one is already on Netflix. It's ok. It's set in the future a bit, still a dystopia. The second part is set to come out in October. I think that one will be much better.

I just remember falling in love with the character when I was 17. I read her say:

Dagny: I'm not interested in their opinion.
James: Then whose do you go by?
Dagny: My own.

and that did it for me.

I saw number 2, advertised in theatres. I ll definitely be checking out the netflix version of number 1!
