If I didn't have a family, in a alternate life I would love to be CJ Cregg from theWestWing.

Probably Dagny Taggart from Atlas Shrugged.

At least she's one I've related to pretty consistently since high school.

Did you ever see the movie? Was it any good? I don't think I have actually read the book, I want to but I don't have time :-( watching the movie I could probably handle.

Yes. They're making the novel into a trilogy. The first one is already on Netflix. It's ok. It's set in the future a bit, still a dystopia. The second part is set to come out in October. I think that one will be much better.

I just remember falling in love with the character when I was 17. I read her say:

Dagny: I'm not interested in their opinion.
James: Then whose do you go by?
Dagny: My own.

and that did it for me.

I saw number 2, advertised in theatres. I ll definitely be checking out the netflix version of number 1!
