When you talked to her about her period?  Mine is 8 and I'm thinking it might be time to start.

Mine are 5 and 3. Still too young. I would think around 10. They seem to mature so much faster now so it's hard to really tell. :)

 We've got a few years.  But, I was 10 when I started so I'd definetely start around your DD's age.

Definitely start.... my 9 year old niece is about to habe hets...the pediatrician said to keep an eye out for it since she is already showing signs.

My daughter and I had the talk when she was about your daughters age. Good thing too, she started the next year. I just had her accompany me to the store specifically to buy only tampons. Every question she had I answered, it seemed to work out quite well. Now she's about to turn 16 and I wish I had those days of 8 years old back again! Good luck!! :-)
