17 or 18  LOL.   Just due to it being silly for me to do it by myself.  Before that age I would go with friends.

I had just turned 15, it was my last year as a kid so I made the most of it.

I think I was about 14 or 15 and just starting high school. I had costumes still for dances and parties but it stopped being fun to go door to door when people weren't giving to older kids any more. So I dressed up to hand out candy instead.

11. I was tall for my age and no one would give me candy because they thought I was too old, so I stopped going.

screamingI had thought I'd go until I turned 13 but the very last year I went I was only 10 in 4th grade because at SEVERAL houses the adults who answered the door were mean to me and wouldnt give me candy and said You are too old to be trick or treating (just bc I was all for my age I was about 5'5" at that age) I was very tender hearted as I am now and it embarassed me and made me sad and I ran home sobbing and my mom was so upset with those idiots but she couldn convince me to try to go trick or treating anymore bc  I was afraid of being yelled at

My kids dressed up and went trick or treating until they were 18, a lot of kids in the town we raisesd them in did, even some adults went and as long as they had a costume on I HAPPILY gave them candy when they came to our door.
