i wish i had known, and been prepared for this. No matter the level of severity, people with tbi are at a high risk of depression.

Hi Flower, sorry I didn't see this sooner. My son is home visiting and I've been avoiding CM. LOL well all internet. Many blessings and Happy New year!
As for depression, it's very common in TBI sufferers. It's also painfully common in the caregivers and children of TBI patients. Depression needs to be dealt with immediately. One of the things that helps me is to go for a long walk.
Danny has suffered bouts of depression since the brain injury. Recently, I've been the one falling off the cliff. It's tough and difficult to deal with. Hugs to you and yours.
