I sure hope not. I've found that my recuperation from the first 2 weeks of July take longer and longer every year. I'm still holding out hope that it isn't age but that damn IUD. I'm going to have it removed soon and I hope it helps.

I have one too. Its almost time to remove. I've enjoyed not having to remember a pill but I'm ready to be rid of it.

This is my second one so I have had one for the last 10 years. Dh just had a vasectomy because I have recently been getting side effects from it. I hate the thought of getting my period back though.

Yeah that's the one thing I LOVE about it. I just had mine and it only last about 12 hrs. I love not having a "normal" period. DH and I were trying to decide if we wanted to try for #3 if not I'd be happy to get fixed! I'm adopted so no family history. I figure the less things to fall apart the better so I'd be happy to give up the old U if it means no chance of cancer or anything like that later.

I haven't even had the hint of a period in 10 years. I don't even remember where the store keeps the lady suplies. LOL I didn't want to have surgery though so I made dh take one for the team. ;)

LOL. DH was worried it would decrease his drive. His isn't up to par with mine as it is, and he's worried I'd either be an angry bitch, or chasing him around the house. I can just imagine him hiding in the back of the closet hugging his knees rocking back and forth mumbling "no more sex, no more sex" LOL!!
