In a group I belong to, a woman who is not from the US posted that her husband gave...shoot, can't remember the name, but she's from South Africa, and it was essentially a dowry.
The ladies started making fun of her for being "owned"!! I can't even believe I just read that.
THANK YOU, ladies, for not bing that cruel! I know this group would never do that to someone.
