I'm in soo much pain right now ugh...I've been trying to push through it all day but now I have a muscle spasm added on to it...anyone have a back they wanna trade me? I need a back replacement lol right now I'm laying on the couch with a heat pad...alternating with ice...anyone have any suggestions?...I've already done stretches and took ibuprofen and used icy hot naturals on it...

Idk...I'm sorry.  Sounds like you've done everything that I would have suggested.
My dh has back and neck issues and he has this round thing that he rolls on often.  It helps keep his back aligned I guess.
I hope you get some relief :(

Ok...I had to look it up in his stuff ;)

It looks like this

They have softer ones I think but this one is a foam roller.  I can pm you the website that he went through if you like so you can read about them. :)

Ouch girl!  I don't know if this roller will help for that :( but you could always ask your chiropractor.  I would have never guessed that you deal with that pain everyday...you are always so warm and funny in your posts.

I would like that, thank you :-) .....I don't go to a chiropractor bc last time I tried they hurt me sooo bad! My spine Dr has sent me to pain management but I'm not one for taking pain pills unless its to the point I'm doubled over like with gallbladder attacks or kidney stones lol....once I left the hospital after my csection I didn't take any more pain pills...just ibufrpofen here and there...even after the second surgery....I've had the epidural injections and cortisone injections and they don't work....my Dr wants me to have surgery but im not convinced on having back surgery so I've learned to deal with it :-) I try not to complain too much and focus on fun and good things rather than pain and stuff :-) I don't always succeed Haha

Ok I'll send you the link and you can see what you think about it.
:( if you need surgery then this roll may not do much but help pop your spine.  You must have a high pain tolerance...yikes!

I have bad back problems. Without my flexeril and disposable heating pads I'd be dead. Try a hot bath. It will feel good at least until you get out. And laying on your stomach will make your back hurt worse. You could also google some back exercises to help. Sorry you're in pain )=

My Dr gave me flexeril last year and I had a bad allergic reaction to it :-/ glad it works for you though :-) last summer when I got hurt on the water slide I also hurt my tailbone...I was paralyzed like couldn't move or feel anything from the waist down for like Idk however long it took them to get me out of the water onto a stretcher into the ambulance and to the hospital lol...so now my tailbone is messed up too..sitting is very uncomfortable if its not all cpushioned ...so I haven't been able to take a nice bath in almost a year :-/ .....I do exercises and stretches for it every day...is yours your lower back or upper back? Do those heating pads really work? I've only tried the tube of icy hot naturals ....I have muscle relaxers and pain meds but I don't take em....trying to find other ways to help relieve the pain...but today is just harder than some :-) thanks for the tips :-)

Mine is all lower back. The heating pads really are my saving grace. They are the last straw before I have to pull out the meds. It's only like 6 bucks for two, and you won't need two. If they don't work then that's when I start on the muscle relaxers and pain meds. I hate taking meds too but sometimes you need it to help until the anti-inflamitories kick in..
