First I want to say thank you to yall that are following this story and praying for my baby. The Drs came by this morning. The catscan showed a small fracture on one of his ribs in his back. The fracture is on the inside of the bone and said there is no possible way that he could have done it himself when he was hitting himself. They think there is a high possibility of him having a bone tumore which weakened the bone to breaking point. They said it would also explain the extreme weight loss and dehydration. They are deciding now whether they are going to transfer him to the closest Childrens hospital since they dont have the technology or specialists needed here for bone tumors. I'll keep yall updated...after DH gets here and I have a moment to break down and let out what Im feeling right now. :****(

OMG, hon I am so sorry.  I'll be praying for your son and your family. :( I hope that this is not what it is and that there is another cause for this. *hugs* If you need to talk just let me know.

So far we havent heard much else. They want to do a full skeletal xray before deciding on transport and according to the DR they are in communications with the specialist at the Childrens Hospital of Dallas. He should have already had that test done but I guess they are still waiting for xray techs to get ready for him. It may be tonight or tomorrow morning before we get confirmation on whether they will transport. Thank you girls, for all the support. Right now I just cant wrap my head around the possibility of my 7 yo having some kind of cancer. Im so scared.

He is in my prayers as well as you mama! Dallas children's hospital was amazing and supportive and informitive when we had to take our 2yr old (now 8) dd to be tested and everything for leukemia ...its very scary scary , I pray that you and your son have the same experience there....

LadyFree,

James 1:17: Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Know that I am praying with you, praying for you and your family that your son would be totally and completely healed. Totally and completely. He answered our prayers when my dad had non-hodgkins lymphoma and surely He can and WILL do it for you.hugs

I'm sorry Momma. I hope the Childrens Hospital can do better testing and find out whats really going on. I hope it isn't as serious as they think. I hope your little one recovers quickly and fully. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
