Trying out treats for Halloween. The boys loved these, a bit sweet for me. I made them out of the jumbo marshmallows, I think better out of the smaller ones.

ETA: it's a jumbo marshmallow dipped in white chocolate colored with orange food coloring. I sat upside down and let it cool and then dipped in white chocolate colored with yellow food coloring. It's supposed to look like candy corn but out of marshmallow. It was good but super sweet. I think done better with the smaller marshmallows, but not the baby ones. I'm going to do some more tonight and I'll post pics of those.

The smaller marshmallows with only the orange on them. I'll add another when I get the yellow on.

Cooling with the yellow. The bigger ones were easier to work with so less messy on my fingers, but the smaller ones will be less sugar and not to overwhelming to eat.

OH if you leave the marshmallow dipped in the chocolate too long it will start to melt. Quick in and out, you'll have to reheat the chocolate over and over to keep it liquid enough to dip. A tiny dot of milk chocolate could forms eyes and make them candy corn marshmallow ghosts. Once they are cooled I can turn them over on their base.
