what did everyone get?
I got suntan lotion which got ruined, woolight, cigar case, nails and beef slices and they are really nasty lol!
I didn't get much in the mail, but I found some great buys at my local Goodwill. I have started my Christmas shopping, I know, 105 in the shade and I am dreaming of the mid 60's F, that is Winter in Alabama. I got my son a brand new in the box Stetson hat, $9.50. I found a cute necklace for my daughter, she lives in St. Croix, USVI and it has a surf board on it, with some painted flowers. I also found a great set of goggles, she snorkels and scuba dives, both set me back $5. I found two (also brand new) wine glasses, all packed in pretty packaging, they say "Men may come, men may go, but girlfriends are forever" I got them for $3 each. I found a Fraternity Award, dated 1929, but the name on the Award was to a Mr. J Barker, my service dogs name is Joebelle Barker on his AKC papers, but I call him Barker. I am going to frame it and hang it in his room, yes he has his own bedroom. He sleeps on a twin bed, has a TV that he ONLY watches the Golf Channel. I love him that much. I found two very nice dresses for myself, for $4 each. One is hilarious, it is a size (ahem) 3X, but it is a 1920's Flapper dress, with rows and rows of fringe, Black with silver straps. Halloween, here I come.
I also bought a new light fixture for the hallway at the Habitat restore, $10 and it is a good copy of my Waterford crystal pattern, Lismore. It is only for the hallway, which is NOT near the china cabinet. Heck, if I have to live in 'LA' Lower Alabama, I can still deck out the cracker box anyway I like, its mine.
