I have used vellum in the printer with no problems. If you have an ink jet printer you have to make sure the ink is dry before using the vellum. If it is a laser printer (a toner instead of ink carts) it is dry immediately.
Have also found that the MINI glue dots seem to work the best and less noticeable. Have tried the vellum adhesive and have not found one that I like.
Vellum is very pretty embossed. If you want a rustic look the edges can be inked. Found this out by accident.
