How long have you been crafting for?
I have been doing crafts of different types since i was in middle school. I not only do scrapbooks and cards, I also do needlepoint (plastic canvas), fabric painting, crochet, knitting, quilting, and several other crafts to.
I always says I was scrapbooking before it became popular. I was cutting the wrapping paper from my daughter's baby shower gifts and putting it in with her pics 39 years ago! I have always been a crafting person. Loved any type of art when i was in school...use to paint and draw pretty good. I started sewing (and making my own patterns) at the age of 8 with the help of my grandmother. She also taught me how to crochet and knit. And I love embroidery...especially free hand design. I got serious about scrapbooking in the early 90's after all my albums and baby books were destroyed when my grandma's basement flooded.
like Kayci & some of the others, been crafting all my life. embroidery, clothes designing for my paper dolls, hand sewing doll clothes, drawing & painting freehand designs & pictures. by highschool was into the sewing machine & mixing patterns to design my own blouses; art classes in all mediums. in my early 20s taught myself to crochet because i never could get the knitting thing to work.- lol- this style of scrapbooking i have been doing since about 1999 - then in 2008 i got involed in computer scrapbooking...
