What makes you feel good?
What whole food, herb, or mind/body practice makes you feel good? As mama's, we can get super overextended which makes self care even more important.
Although my baby is now 23 (and I'm ttc for #2), I have 2 dogs and three cats. The amount of care I put into these fur babies equates to the work of two kids. I also work part time and manage my household full time.
In August, I have to travel by plane for work twice a week. I am also a supremely sensitive person so in order to withstand the travel I am practicing extreme self care. What an amazing lesson in slowing down and surrendering, refusing to unnecessarily push myself and focus on what is really important in the moment. For this ultra sensitive, perfectionist Virgo it is a magnificent lesson that I intend to carry with me as a way of life beyond this phase. I am also drinking nettle infusions, keeping up with ginseng supplements, making sure I get plenty of rest and am eating well.
I'd like to hear how you keep gonig when the going gets rough.
