1). If you share your work let us know a little about it. For example, if you post a painting, note what medium was used.
2). Be sure to cite any artwork that isn't your own. Sharing work from other artists is encouraged, but calling it your own isn't. Citing references is appreciated but isn't required.
3). When giving critique, be constructive. No one wants to hear "This sucks!" If you feel that way, explain why and how it can be improved. This is a place for learning and growing, not for bashing others' works.
4). This is a drama-free zone. If you want to debate hot button issues not pertaining to art there are other groups for that. i.e. "Tattoos are trashy, and this is why". A good old fashioned debate on how Jackson Pollock was a terrible artist, or how Kandinsky had the art skills of a 4 year old is acceptable.
5). Absolutely NO bashing children's artwork. Proud art moms LOVE sharing how their kids are following in their footsteps. It may not look like the next Mona Lisa to you, but we are still very proud of it.
